Life Threatening Experience : While the hotel and its facilities are basic, as is its pricing, we were most disappointed by the cheating owners of the hotel. While travelling from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, the owner offered to take us in his car (he claimed to be travelling there for some work) and drop us in the city anywhere... More

I stayed at the King Angkor Hotel, Siem Reap, Cambodia, for two nights in December, 2008 My initial plan when I arrived In Siem Reap was to stay at a hostel called the Earth walker. How ever I was informed by the taxi driver that this hostel was miles away and I would be advisable to stay some where more... More

However after having to haggle over a price, we were told by the help from the King Angkor that we really should stay at the King, because the hotel we'd booked... More

I live and work in Cambodia and this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in the country in my 4 years here. The hotel staff were unprofessional... More
