location: from the airport we took a taxi for standard usd$9 to the 240 hotel. check-in was swift and we were given room 3 on the second floor. the 240 hotel had a list of prices for tuktuk at the lobby so you know what prices to expect, and there was always tuktuks on hand at the entrance for you.... Very nice rooms, very gentle and helpful service, very good located, great breakfast - we loved it. Kings Palace and Mekong in walking distance. Very nice restaurant with cooking classes in the same street about 50m away.

We stayed for five days - three days in one of the private plunge pool rooms, and two in Room 1. The first room was comfortable, but we didn't use the pool (mosquitoes at night, a little too much debris). Regarding Room 1, I'm glad to hear from the response from management below that solutions for the drainage for the... More

We booked 2 rooms via agoda, but somehow one of the rooms was not equal to the other. If you go, avoid room nr 1!! Its a terrible room! The bathroom is so old and not well taken care of! I was quite disappointed since we booked a room which should have a design / boutique bathroom with a bathtub(... More

Dear Guest, Indeed, the rooms are different and at different rates too. As for room 1, we have repainted the bathroom and changed the curtains. We have changed the piping of the shower drainage but not really improved. I am considering to bring the shower a little higher now as no technician could advise anything that made sense... A wonderfully located hotel with superb staff. They made feel comfortable from the start and were happy to store our bicycle inside while we had a 5th floor room. The cafe next door serves great juices and breakfasts, so all in all a great place to be. The rooms are what makes this hotel - properly relaxing places to come... More

We are just about to check out having stayed just a night here . However we have really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are really really nice and speak great English. They are very attentive and if you ask them to help you or do something they will make sure it gets done. Outside they have regular tuk tuk drivers... More

Very helpful staff, good English, nice facilities, lovely organic breakfast, good mini bar, eager to help tourists navigate the city, awesome plunge pool in our room, good wifi. Ten minute walk to the palace, close to spas, safe area near a lot of embassy homes.

I used the 240 as a base while travelling Cambodia. It is clean and the rooms are comfortable enough. Staff? Not unfriendly . . . but not particularly friendly. My main problem is that there is nowhere to go except your room . . . no garden or outdoor sitting area, so if you fancy a quiet hour in the... More

Dear Guest, I am very sorry you did not like the 240. Both the 240 and TeaHouse are our places. The 240 has the advantage to be right on 240 street, one of the main shopping destinations of Phnom Penh, right at the back of the Royal Palace. Staying at the 240 gives access to the pools of our other... More
