The Intercontinental in Phnom Penh is a comfortable hotel which is also well located .Its on the main Mao Tse Tung Boulevard. It has spacious rooms and suites including an executive floor. Its well reccomended for conferences so at any given time you are likley to run into hordes of conference particpants. The check in and out are fairly smooth... More

We had a 10th floor non smoking room with views of the main Mao Tse Tung Blvd, rooms were spacious with comfortable king bed and fluffy pillows. As the 20th ASEAN summit was being held there, it did mean a small inconvenience of going through security screening whenever we entered the hotel. Service was good, all staff friendly and helpful.... More

I stayed in one of the suites and it was very nice and affordable. this one was not as luxurious; however, it was very nice and I would definitely stay here again. I enjoined the service and the environment and hence i did not even enjoy the city. The view from my room was of the busy Mao Tse Tung... More

The hotel room was comfortable but crowded, with dark heavy furniture and a fiarly small boxy TV. I had higher expectations from an upmarket international brand. Given it is relatively expensive, to charge extra for internet access is galling. Breakfast was excellent but significantly overpriced; dinner in the restaurant was good and more sensibly priced. The location is not really... More

I was staying in this wonderful hotel for 19 days ( March 10-29/2012) with my colleagues for training. I will never forget the treatment we were receiving from the hotel staff. I felt like a king! Every time i travel to most places i like to stay out of the hotel but this time...I enjoined the service and the environment... More

I stayed at this hotel during my first and, thus far, only visit to Phnom Penh. I stayed in one of the suites and it was very nice and affordable. In fact, it was the least expensive suite I have ever stayed at and worth much more than what was charged. Unlike other Intercontinental Hotels that I have stayed at,... More

After the Sofitel, this hotel was an overpriced irritation. Almost 300 USD for a smelly, tired room in which we had to pay an extra 15 USD for Internet connection. Room service was slow and poor quality (2 out of 4 coconuts were bad!). Upon checkout the staff refused me Internet access at reception saying that we had to pay... More

I stayed in this hotel for five nights 14th to 19th March 2012 whilst on a business trip to the Far East. I departed London UK on the evening of Tuesday 13th March and arrived late at night on Wednesday 14th March with transit stops in Doha and Bangkok. I was very tired, but the welcome by the front desk... More

For frequent visitors to Intercontinental Hotels, this isn't going to be the most opulent and lavish of their properties you have stayed in. Phnom Penh is, after all, the capital of a country recovering from a traumatic recent past, and in developmental terms, it is well behind most of its neighbors. But if you adjust your expectations down from Bangkok... More
