I am here in the lounge waiting to find a solution for a problem: they say I have broken the Bath's door, which was already broken when I checked in, and want to charge me 120.000 Ktg, 800$. Totally crazy. My word worth nothing against the word if the woman who clean the rooms! keep away or check everything when... More

For Astana conditions not so extremely bad. I was in a worse one. Still I can not say something specially positive. It might be a good hotel only for a business conference, they have some facilities for that. My main compliants were: - There was no possibility to get some fresh air into the room. The air conditioning was not... More

The service here is pretty good, generally speaking a quiet hotel. They are accommodating of service requests. I stay regularly on business travel. Beds are very hard, which I like; but may not be for everyone. During last stay, someone next door decided to throw a small party at 2:30am and woke me up. Front desk addressed it quickly and... Stayed here on business. The rooms are large, mine had a damp patch but the shower was nice and hot. No tea and coffee facilities, the Internet was ok. Breakfast was average. Location wise there is a large shopping centre across the road. Staff lacked the customer service skills required to claim 5-star status. What I didn't like was that... More

I stayed here as part of a business convention. I would normally not stay in a hotel which is not part of a chain as I am a platinum member with 2 major hotel chains. First impression, it looks more like an office block than a hotel. The check in staff spoke limited English. Friendliness of Kazakh people are left... More

This is a magnificent looking building in a great location with a megamall and fine restaurants within walking distance. Thats where the good things end. This place is a bleak Soviet throwbak in the middle of vibrant modern Astana. The following list is just the start; - Balcony door sealed. - Phone too far from bed (no bed phone) -... More

I was staying at this hotel for 2 days in standart room #715. My room was quite large and clean. there was a balcony in the room but it was closed and the doorhandle was totally removed. And i think this in't good idea of the management of the hotel. I still can't understand that decision. Bathroom was really large... More

WIFI doesn't work in all rooms ether does the AC. No mini bar. Disinterested staff (it doesnt hurt to smile and be welcoming to your guests). Only the reception staff speak English which makes hard work trying to order food! The stroppy girl at the breakfast reception isn't the best person to greet guests at breakfast. Beds are as hard... Stayed there for a night and have no complaints about my room or hotel service – the room was huge (a suite really, complete with a guest WC), clean, new and had all the comforts of a modern hotel for business travellers (loved the shower). Although, I suppose one could argue that was to be expected at USD 235 a... More

We booked this as the final leg of our Kazakhstan trip in June 2012. Its central location between old and new parts is perfect for exploring. The rooms are fine and the hotel staff are friendly with quite a few being able to speak English. BEWARE - THE SPA IS SEPARATE AND IS CHARGED AS EXTRA! This annoyed us as... More
