I have stayed here twice because when my preferred hotel is unavailable I know what I'm getting: a comfortable bed, friendly service (who remember me and my room number), reliable internet and a good breakfast. Next door is a great fruit shop that sells felafel and down the road are plenty of outlets and shops (incl a supermarket) with all... More

We stayed at this hotel on an intrepid tour and it was perfect for us. The room was clean and had lots of character with the teak furniture & floorboards. Breakfast was included in the price, and was very basic, but the rolls were delicious. The staff were always friendly. Loved having free wifi in our oom, and being o... More

This clean comfortable hotel fronts onto the street close to the centre of town. DO NOT confuse it with Khampiane Hotel 2 which is just around the corner (owned by the son who I think is trading on his fathers good name). The son tried to force our tour group into KP2 and our tour guide has to go to... More

We visited this hotel on our way back to Thailand after a couple of weeks in Laos. Usually we stay at much cheaper guesthouses however unfortunately we got to Vientiane at night when there was a festival in the city so this was literally the only room we could find. We got a small twin room without a window which... More

We actually showed up late Christmas eve and we were able to get a room quickly and conveniently. Like most hotels in Vientiane, the doors are lock after 10:30pm, which I'm okay with because in a way it's security. Vientiane is sleepy city, so nightlife is limited, although on New Year's eve they will keep the doors unlock for guest.... More

This hotel is quite pleasantly furbished with friendly owner and staff. A good location close to a few of the sights of Vientiane. Vientiane is quite ramshackle, but still has some charm. Most sights can be seen in a day.

I stayed two nights and had great experience here. Great value for $35 per night. Location - Very convenient. Easy to go to most of restaurants, massage places, coffee shops, etc. in downtown. Close from stand restaurants Mekong riverside too. Room - Very clean wooden floor. Bed is a little bit hard, which I really liked. Linens are all clean.... More

If you just need a bed to sleep, you can probably stay at the Khampiane Hotel. I had a standard room, not much space. Mattress not comfortable, shower was broken (nobody came to fix), no hot water at the washbowl, internet was not working in room. Breakfast, acceptable but less than average. Nothing really bad or terrible, but no charm... More

The staff here are so friendly and always greet you with big smiles. It 's quite a small hotel and they seem to know all their guests and are reaching for your key as you walk in through the door! The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, a downside is the bathroom is very small. Wireless internet is available in... More
