We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights when we first arrived in Vientiane. Our transfer from the international airport was seamless. The room was clean and really nice with enough room to stretch out a bit. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included but we purchased eggs and toast one morning and it was good.... More

The Vayakorn Inn has beautiful wooden stairs and floors so you need to take off your shoes when you enter. Breakfast places are very close Noy's amazing fruitshakes and Jomo where they serve fair trade coffee are highly recommended. The hotel is very well located and you can walk to the Mekong which has less water at this time of the... This is a gem of a hotel in a quiet laneway near the centre of Vientiane. It's a few minutes walk from the riverside and around the corner from some popular western and Lao restaurants. The directions for taxi drivers that don't know the place is to take the second turn after the Lao National Museum, and it's 200m down... More

Hotel location is very good, within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, small bars etc. Hotel itself was very clean and neat. The wooden flooring is kept in a good shape since you have to take off your shoes inside the hotel. WiFi is available although access to internet is not always flawless. Rooms are big and do have... The location is great, on a quiet side street but within easy walking distance to the Mekong, restaurants, bars, cafes and the bus set off and drop off point for Vang Vieng. Rooms are good sized, clean and comfortable each with a balcony. I found it a very relaxing place to stay and very convenient for everything. I have previsouly... More

A quaint little hotel among the plethora of good, bad and ugly establishments in central vientiane. Pros: # located in central vientiane and close to Wat Mixay, In peng and the riverside market. # spacious rooms Cons: # below and I mean way below average service - there has not been a single time when the hotel staff has been... I visit Vientiane 2 times per year on business. I used to stay at the Lao Orchid but I stopped doing that because of an unjustified price hike. I switched to the Vayakorn Inn and am quite happy about it. The rooms are spacious, the bed is excellent, the bathroom is adequate, everything is clean, wifi works OK, and the... More

Great location in the centre of the town. Staff speak little English but were very polite and helped where they could. Beds are comfortable and upstairs rooms have a small balcony. Rooms a a good size and nice and light. Wifi must have been upgraded as we saw routers on all floors and the connection on the top floor was... More

Charming, peaceful hotel with pleasant rooms (hardwood floors and nice, solid wooden furniture, large desk, small balcony if you want to smoke a sig - the hotel is non-smoking-, comfortable bed with light duvet and immaculate duvet cover, fridge, good aircon), very small bathrooms with shower but there's all that is needed. It's ideally situated in a neighborhood filled with... More

A relatively new hotel, run by the same people as the cheaper guesthouse round the corner, this (at around £24 for a double en suite) is really good value for money. A very pleasant environment, with an impressive foyer and comfortable rooms with beautiful wooden flooring. Polite, courteous staff and a good, substantial breakfast on offer too. Located in a...
