I have personally enjoyed two things in this hotel: 1) The interior decorations in the lobby and stair cases and 2) the friendliness and outstanding service of the staff. You take those two things out of the equation, I honestly would prefer to sleep in the Wat (Temple) just next door, the monks are as nice and welcoming :-) The... More

I booked into the Inter-City via Agoda at $27 per night for 4 nights. I travel a lot to Vientiane, but have never stayed in this hotel before. I'm not sure I would call it "boutique" although it is interesting. Lots of adornments and things around on the lobby level and throughout the hotel. I think most of it is... More

Really fun hotel on the street bordering the river border between Thailand and Laos. Huge reception with interesting decoration Free internet on the lobby computers French style rooms with double doors, huge beds, huge bathroom. Very close to night markets, awesome restaurant and rooftop bar next door. Breakfast room a bit hot and stuffy but good thai food and eggs... More

We stayed 2times there, before and after our trip to LP only because we had booked the room in advance and did not bother to go thru all the hustle of cancellation. At the two times checking in was long we wait for hours before the room ready, and the lift was broken during our first 3days stay! And our room were... More

Located near airport and in front of the hotel is the night market! The room was big and okay. They gave towel and provide breakfast. Near to restaurant and travel agent.

We stayed here for one night as we arrived in Vientaine late and had read the recommendation in Lonely Planet. The room we had was at the back, a cheaper room and for $40 per night we felt was totally overpriced for what we got. The main issues we had were our aircon didn't work, this was fine we were... We are an early 30s couple from Asia on a week long vacation. We need for nothing fancy but clean, convenient and value for money accommodation. In that spirit intercity this sizable establishment met all our needs - near all the attractions, known enough that all tuktuk drivers know the place, clean neat rooms . The bathrooms were a bit... Great location, good sized rooms, friendly staff and clean. Remember how much you are paying for the room and this is a very good hotel - some reviews seem very harsh considering the price. It's a bit scruffy and could do with make-over but then the price would be doubled (at least!)

I actually decided to come 2 days earlier than I had made my reservations for. The front desk staff was very accommodating. They asked how much I had paid for the room and gave it to me at the same price. From there on, the service was pretty standard. The rooms were comfortable. I had a room on the 4th... More

Ideally located with view on the Mekong , the deluxe room is spacious clean with safe. Yes it is directly located above a busy road but we can't have everything for that price. International TV, A/C working well, friendly staff and for the someone living in Thailand we still can get the thai signal for the phone (AIS). One negative... More
