A nice hotel but overpriced for what you get, the rooms are clean but a new hotel is being built next door!

We stayed here after a night from hell in another hotel in Vientaine and we were thrilled. We got a standard room which was clean and had a lovely little bathroom, all the we needed! My first visit to this city...this Hotel I found on Trip Advisor...there are many hotels here...but to me this was excellent...the staff once again were very helpful...and so obliging the rooms very clean...there were public Computers to use...the breakfast was great...and they had expresso coffee...best coffee in Asia...and a relief after Vietnamese coffee. The VIP Bus to the "City Center" dropped all passengers within 100 meters of Avilla Phasouk, though it was a bit of a challenge to find the hotel in the dark alley where it is located. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Vientiane, our room was spacious, airy, clean, and had lots of windows and a comfy bed. It was the perfect place to spend a night. Staff were really nice too.

This hotel by the small lane is just around the corner from Nam Phu fountain (under construction) which is considered the centre of the city. Hotel has nice rooms. The breakfast is ordinary. The staff try hard but don't speak much English which makes it difficult at times. The hot water ran out several times. Overall the value was average. There's better places but worse in Vientiane. Bonus is that it's pretty much in the heart of the city and is fairly quiet.
