This hotel is small but cozy and clean. The location is great, too. There are many eateries, different prices to suit different budgets. The eatery right beside the hotel is great The Laos food is authentic, more to Asian taste. Very pleasant small hotel with comfortable rooms, good breakfast and charming, helpfull staff.

Hotel is located about 1/2 block from the river on a side street. Many temples in walking distance, as well as the night market on the river bank. Room was large, clean, & comfortable. We had the pleasure of staying one night here before flying to Luang Prabang. The room was clean,had a big bed,hot water and a verandah so you could see the Mekong River. I stayed 3 days here, and was extremely satisfied, staff were friendly (except night receptionist, he never smiled!), room was clean, comfortable, bathroom clean, hot water but no amenities. we live 2 nights in orchid ,the service is good. but the room on streets with noises of motors almost make me crazy.the second day,we change to the back room against street ,it is better than first day, but the buzzles from air conditioners of the building still made me feel uncomfortable.
