This is a beautiful first floor flat, situated in an old Istanbul building 5 minutes walk from Galata tower. The area is the most interesting to be in in Istanbul within walking distance of so many exciting things to see and do. Ahmed is available by phone all the time and works at the hotel 2 doors away so is... More

If you are looking for a "different" place to stay and chain hotels don't mean much to you (regardless of the stars) then you got yourself a beautiful choice! Located conveniently in a small street minutes of the Istiklal avenue, previously being a Greek family furniture factory, this place mixes modern hotel features with a family atmosphere and a genuine... We were unlucky with our neighbours at galata rooms,no sleep for 2 nights... even with earplugs you had the feeling that you could understand the conversations. Around midnight we could finally relax when someone started to „play“ the guitar. The house next to the galata rooms is very, very close. The other thing is that you can smell the cigarette... More

First impression after p getting out on the steep cobbled streets of Istanbul was "This looks impressive". Rooms Galata has carefully blended the old with the new. If Rooms Galata were a person, it would be someones grandad, with a face that tells a million wonderful stories, and inside shone a heart of pure gold. Like many other boutique hotels... More

Loved this "boutique" hotel! Perfectly located close to great restaurants, shops, sights such as the Galata tower, interesting neighborhoods, and public tranport. The room felt like a luxury apartment and was quite spacious and well appointed. The cozy ground-floor garden & rooftop were nice bonuses too! What really made our stay however was the helpfulness & warmth of the hotel... More

Just got back from Istanbul after a 4 night stay in Rooms Galata. Although the rooms themselves were very nice and spacious the management and services offered by the hotel leaves alot to be desired. This is supposed to be a design boutique hotel. It advertises that there are ipods, safes and a mini fridge/bar in the room and a... More

Beautifully renovated building in exciting arts area - located on a quiet road off i̇stiklal Caddesi, the main street in Beyoglu area. You'll be close enough to historic center of town but not overrun by tourists. Very safe area and there are great restaurants and bars options close by. Rooms are very comfortable and thoughtfully designed with great attention to... More

Modern renovated old building with tons of charm. Super location and extremely helpful staff. Clean rooms with good layout. Wife and I stayed here for 4 days and we would stay here again. Nice marble bathrooms and views from the roof deck is fantastic.

The location is great, three minutes walk to Istiklal and 5 minutes walk to the Tophane tram station to Sultanahmet. The room was fascinating, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We almost didn't want to leave. The staff were kind and helpful, and spoke fluent English. They were very flexible and helpful with us in changing our date of reservation and... More
