Además es un barrio tranquilo, con comercios y restaurantes, cuasi-peatonal y lo suficientemente alejado de la línea del tranvía para evitar ruido. Llegar por la noche produce una... More

small hotel in Sultanahmet district, steps from Sirkeci train station, Eminonu ferry stop on the Golden Horn, and literally meters away from tram stop to wherever a tourist might want to go - from Istanbul Modern and ferries to Prince's Islands in one direction, Topkapi, Haghia Sofia, the Great Bazaar and Beyazit in the other. Small, super friendly staff whose... More

Serken was so gracious and when I arrived, gave me the map I wore out until it was ripped apart as well as tour and show options if I so desired. He was extremely helpful whenever I had a... More

The hotel is 5-10 minute walking distance from Hagia Sophia et. al., the central train station (Sirkeci), and the tram leading to almost all of Istanbul's historic attractions. Also 20 minute walk to Beylogu. Very hospitable staff/management - Turkish style. Hotel looks like it was built last year and room/toilets cleaned yesterday. My... More
