The Conrad Istanbul is showing its age with some worn carpeting in hall ways and rooms, but the rooms are good size and the bathroom is sparklingly clean. The staff, from reception to waiters, is uniformly pleasant and helpful. And of course there are unbeatable views of the Bosphorus. The Summit and Monet restaurants offer predictible, but good choices.

Rooms and services are great with wonderful amenities for preferred Hilton status. Obama stayed here when in Istanbul. However, not close to attractions so recommend choosing tours with p/u.

I stayed at the Conrad for two nights in May 2012 and really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is elegant but traditional and the service is excellent.
