The hotel is a bit run down, though some rooms are better than others. Great views from some hotel rooms and from the roof top cafe. The cafe/restaurant is poor and service can be lackadaisical.

This hotel is expensive considering its facilities but it is second to none in location and the views from the restuarant are spectacular.
Staff undertrained and pretty hopeless.
Restaurant is good for views only whether by day or night, the food is appalling, in our party the beef stroganoff had 2 small pieces of beef and no mushroom, the vegetable...

Probably one of the nicest views that I have had in a hotel. It is in a great location.
Other than that it gets a very poor rating. The staff was very unfriendly and unaccomodating. They seemed very aloof but it isn't that nice of a hotel. When I had a question they wouldn't answer over the phone and made...

Rooms tended to be small but adequate. Wifi was marginal for strength and connectivity on some floors. Beds were somewhat hard and pillows uncomfortable. Buffet breakfast was only marginally adequate. Location was best point - right behind Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in the Sultanahmet or Old Town area with great views of the Bosporus. Easy walk to very good...

Nice hotel in fabulous location near blue mosque and hagia sophia. Free good wifi. Breakfast okay but greasy restaurant with great view over entire city. Rooms need to be refurbished with used matrasses and old shower. Worth it for a short city trip but dont expect perfect luxury as this is not an international chain hotel.
We stayed there for three days! We chose a corner room that was big! Bed was a little bit small and heating in the room was not enough! Room was hot after two days! At least was clean!
Hotel staff was helpful and friendly, although we asked the receptionist for a nice Turkish place to eat meat and he sent...

Made a booking with ADAC for the Arcadia in Istanbul. Its located minutes from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The Grand Bazaar is a ten minute walk and the Spice Bazaar is perhaps 20 minutes away. The hotel itself is an older building with modestly furnished but comfortable rooms. The rooftop restaraunt serves an average buffet breakfast with a...

We chose the Arcadia on the recommendation of a respected tour guide that we know. His suggestion was based on location. For the first time in recent years I did not check the reviews on Tripadvisor before booking. I should have known better and will not repeat my mistake.
The Arcadia hotel is indeed well placed for the attractions of...

This is a nice hotel in the heart of the Old Town. It is walking distance to nearly everything in Sultanahmet. The staff speaks very clear English and want to make sure the guests are taken care of. They lost a star in my ratings because they focus on large tour groups, not 2-4 person groups for dinner. If you...

We stayed for 4 nights at a corner deluxe in early June and we satisfy the location, view, a quiet room and several nice staffs at roof top restaurant & front desk, off course.
But a bell boy, Almid at evening to midnight & a receptionist Numan at morning cheated us of 60 TL (= 30 euro) for shared-ride airport...
