We found the legendary Turkish grace and warmth entirely missing at this hotel. It's a pity that these folks are even in the hospitality business. This is a super place, very close to the main mosques and palaces and with comfortable and spacious rooms (though rather nasty foam pillows could be improved upon) and a super roof terrace (managed by the friendly Hassan) with many comfortable rattan chairs and tables with a 'to die for' view of the blue mosque and the sea of marmara.... Well-appointed, and perfectly located in the touristy part of town. Plenty of restaurant choices, although for variety I'd head to Taksim myself.
