I stayed two nights at this hotel during a business trip to Istanbul. The rooms are small and there is no elevator, but it is clean and the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance to may sightseeing places in the historic city, and the view from the roof terrace is magnificent.

Pretty decent standard style hotel. OK breakfast ... free afternoon cakes. Nice roof terrace (every hotel has a roof terrace tho!) Smallish but comfortable rooms. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

The location of the Sultan Inn IS excellent. The accommodations, however, are on the low end of adequate. In early May, two friends and I stayed in a "family" room with a double bed and two twins. My parents and I stayed in Istanbul a few nights and this B&B was fairly ideal. The rooms aren't massive but they're comfortable, with air conditioning and attached baths.
