A little bit hard to find this hotel, the taxi driver had troubles with it, though I took taxi 5 minutes from this place (for 20 TL - be aware! too much). Double room costs 55 USD with breakfasts. Comfortable bed inside, bed linen and towels changed everyday. Clean bathroom, fridge, TV, telephone and gratis internet WIFI in the rooms.... More

I stayed with a friend for 4 nights in the Avlonya Hotel. After the arrival at Sabiha Gökcen we took a taxi from Taksim Place for the fixed price of 20 TL. Seems a bit expensive now but well... The hotel is at a stone's throw from Beyazit Boulevard, about 5-6 minutes brisk walk. From there you can either walk or take the tram to reach the historical centre of Istanbul.
