The Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus hotel is relatively new. The Renaissance brand carries certain characteristics, which I felt were not delivered here. Location: The location is not central, but easily accessible with buses, or also via Metro station Gayrettepe (which also happens to be a Metrobus hub for line 34) if you are willing to walk 10 minutes. The Check In:... More

I just spent a long weekend in Istanbul and stayed at the Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel, and my experience there was a really good one, the hotel met all of my expectations. The location is a bit far from old town istanbul and traffic in Istanbul is crazy so if you plan to stay at this hotel the best thing... More

The entire staff was phenomenal! On arrival I was upgraded to a corner suite because of my Lifetime Platinum status and the views were fantastic. The hotel is located on the hill of Barbaros Bulvari and the only public transportation is the city bus. Luckily, they are plentiful and cheap. Five buses (27E; 27SE; 62; 63; 63R) will connect you... Just the view is worth the money. We have stayed at a corner suit on 15th floor, the view of Bosphorus was the die for and almost a disadvantage that you do not want to leave your room!! But of course so much to do and see in Istanbul we had to get out!! Every time we look forward to... More

We have just returned from a weekend in Istanbul during which we stayed in this hotel and can not praise it highly enough. I regularly stay in Marriott hotels for business and this has to be one of the best! The hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms offer amazing views across the city (with spectacular sunsets) or over the... More

Stayed two nights for a business trip. The hotel was incredibly clean and fresh (because it was new and because the housekeeping staff was excellent). The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. As everyone has mentioned, the rooms are small...just a couple of feet around a king size bed. That being said, it... More

Booked w/ Marriott points, but still got upgraded as a Gold member. The room, although quite small, and actually the smallest Renaissance I've ever stayed, was still pretty nice w/ direct view of Bosphorus and the bridge connecting two continents. It would have been even more spectacular if the window could be cleaner. Honestly, the hotel itself surly represents a... More

An interersting establishment. I stayed here as I was put there by a client - its not an hotel I would have chosen for myself. That said, after the slightly underwhelming reception appearance, it was fine - really fine. Its expensive - all Istanbul hotels are expensive and the prices vary so much depending on room occupancy and availability. I was... More

I wish the concierge lounge were open. It isn't. Rooms are very small but new and beautifully decorated. Staff are great and make the hotel a pleasant place to stay. I am returning st the rind of this week.
