Dear Valued Guest, Thank you very much for taking time to write a review about our hotel and amenities. You had booked a package under the category of Bosphorus view room with jacuzzi in the bathroom. We had allocated just what you had booked. In addition to that, we had offered free upgrade to a higher category to your friends.... More

We went on our honeymoon May-June 2010 to Istanbul and stayed with them for 1 week. We booked through hotels.com. I had reserved a water view room with king size bed but our first room was a street view with 2 double beds placed side by side (with the small gap in the middle). On the same day we got... More

First time visitor to Turkey and was made to feel 'at home' right away! I can't praise them highly enough. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The hotel staff were always friendly, helpful and quick to attend to guest's needs and questions. The breakfast's were lavish and delicious, and the dining room and terrace had... More

I stayed at this hotel as a single lady. I enjoyed the accomodations. The front desk staff was excellent. My room was on the ground floor next to the front desk. My room didn't have a great view, but I loved the room. it was big. The furniture was different than normal hotel furniture. It had character. My hairdryer broke... More

Booked hotel on basis of trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Stayed 6 nights in ground floor room - it was clean and spacious. There was a train line close by which was not a problem for us but may be for some. Breakfast room location was excellent looking out on the river. The hotel was close to all... More

Room was nice and even though ours was on the ground floor so no real view it was still fine. Railway is very close but didn't disturb us at all. Staff are very friendly, especially Gokhan, with his lovely smiley face. Having the good buffet breakfast overlooking the water is a wonderful start to the day. And, if you want... More

The botique hotel is very convienently located to many attractions in Old Town Istanbul. The rooms are clean and comfortable, buffet breakfast was impressive. Nice terrace view, staff was friendly and accomodating. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Sumengen Hotel is a really lovely place in a 3 minutes walk to The Blue Mosque! The stuff is friendly and helpfull, rooms are clean and rather nice (and it was warm inside despite the cold and rainy weather outside) and you have your breakfast with panorama of Bosphorus - GREAT! The only problem was poor WiFi in the room.... More
