This is definately not a 5 star hotel as advertised. Driver for hotel shuttle from airport made it clear he wanted a bigger tip. First room we checked into smelled like cigarettes so bad we had to change. None of the windows in any of the rooms open, except the $300 night suite. Food was typical turkish and way overpriced.... Problems started with the airport pickup. Was to go exit Gate B. The exits at the airport are not labeled as such, only on the outside if you look back. Waited 2 1/2 hour for pickup. The Holiday-Inn Instabul Airport is used for a first flight out next morning. The 6:00 AM Shuttle is then also the first one to take. There is nothing special about the hotel.
