Selcuk's a lovely place, but there must be somewhere better to stay than Dream guest house..Beds were clean etc, but the bad shower thing, not good for us older people, ok for teenybops I suppose.Staff were nice. It's not a hotel, a backpackers inn describes it better but we coped fine for a 1-night stop in Selcuk. The place do need maintenance and an upgrade of finishes and fittings will do wonders. The husband and wife who run the place are very nice. We were there several days, and the last couple of days they made omeletes for us instead of the typical boiled egg served with the Traditional Turkish Breakfast. When we arrived, my wife checked out the bathroom and found pubic hairs and dirty mirrors...Everything went down hill from there...The white towels were ratty and gray..there are a few families living in the building which was not an issue, however the men hung out downstairs in the lobby or patio all smoking cigaretts...Smoke drifts upwards and the place smelled...
