The gentleman with the white beard/moustache at the desk is Tibi. He speaks English very well and I found him very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great and my room on the first floor had a magnificent panoramic view. The hotel is easy walking distance to the Bahai temple, shops restaurants and the zoo (with its two albino tigers).... More

We rented a deluxe room which supposedly was refurbished. It was hard to see what would have been newer than 30 years old, perhaps the carpet. The decor was 60'ish, interesting actually and there was free internet. The breakfast was very good but the most amazing thing was the view from the 7th floor which was absolutely fantastic. The was... More

After checking into Nof with great disappointment at the service and the condition of the only room offered, we were overwhelmed at the cigarette smoke coming into the room. A call to the desk resulted in no offer to address the problem of my cigarette smoke allergies. The clerk quipped that smoking in the halls of the entire hotel is... More

Not bad for 3* but not good for 4*. Location - 10-15 minutes by taxi to the German Colony (costs 40 Shekel). Bus takes abt. 20 min and costs 6.40 Shekel. But the Bus is quite rare thing in Haifa (waiting time abt. 10-20 min). Rooms quite ok with old renovation. Breakfast quite rich but elsewhere in Israel not delicious.... More

We recently stayed at the Nof during a trip to Haifa for a week. We were in a junior suite on the top (7th) floor. The suite had two separate rooms: a master bedroom with a great view over the city, the bay and part of the Baha'i gardens. The second room had two small fold-out couch-beds where our two... More

We found this facility to be extraordinarily average by international standards. The building is aging and dilapidated, with fixtures and fitting in both the lobby and the rooms rusty and probably in poor taste when installed in the 1970s. Wifi is only available in the lobby, and is slow and intermittently drops out. Service, by Israel standards is on par.... More

Located in upper Haifa on the promenade, the Nof has beautiful views of the city from the lobby and the rooms. My room could have used some updating but overall it was adequate and clean. I was a little leery of management at first as the desk clerk at check-in was a bit brusk. However, he did warm up later... More

I stayed in "renovated room" and have very good impression; I cannot share others' skeptical reviews. Room is spacious, clean, with a lot of horizontal surfaces where you can put things - a very useful feature in hotels. Breakfast is good as well. View from the window is excellent - everybody agrees on that. During the same trip I stayed... More

This was a great hotel. The breakfast is good with fresh fruit and fresh orange juice. They tried to change up the break fast but it was mostly the same which is fine. The computers in the lobby I coudnt find a USB port so I asked the manager if I could charge it with his computer and he was... More
