I'm not going to mislead anyone...the KS could use some remodeling, but nothing serious; new carpeting, furniture in the public areas, etc., would suffice. I saw worse issues during my stay in the Crowne Plaza in Jerusalem...and my room here was far larger and more comfortable! Most of the employees are pleasant and accommodating...no one was unhelpful. The food selection... More

Recently spent 5 nights at the King Solomon, on a tour package. Hotel is located within walking distance of the Old City, but still a good walk. I would rate this hotel as equivalent to a "Holiday Inn" US standards. The hotel was clean, food (part of the package) adequate, bar was adequate, Staff helpful. Big Plus was free wifi... More

Stayed recently for 6 nights at this hotel and I have to say we were terribly disappointed, as this was easily the worst hotel on our 12 day tour of Israel. We had stayed at KS in past years at various times, but this time was truly not good, and we will not be back. The worst experience was in... More

I was going on a business trip to Tel Aviv, so took a few days in Jerusalem to explore the city and the history - the location is terrific, the staff is helpful. The decor was a bit old and definitely old-fashioned. The room was not especially clean - I had a minor disaster with the tea service and no... More

We have stayed at the hotel about 3 times, the last visit (Jan 2012) was for 3 weeks. The rooms are fine, the beds are great, and all of the members of the staff are wonderful. The breakfast is top notch and they have lots and lots of great choices. It is centrally located and easy to get to. More

Our tour group stayed here 5 nights as it is near Old Jerusalem and is an easy trip in and out of the city to the various nearby sites in Israel. The staff is wonderful...from the front desk who went out of their way to be helpful...to the wait staff of the restaurant...to the shop keeper in Abraham's Antiques who... More

Yes hotel needs to be remodeled, yes the rooms need new design, new carpet, new drapes, but the food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the staff is very good. I was at the hotel over Chanukah, I had a group tour dinner at the King Solomon Hotel in Jerusalem last week, the chef came out himself, introduced himself... More

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel was not full because of the low tourist season and they upgraded us to a high floor with an incredible view. While some of the decor is a bit older the room was immaculately clean and very large - far larger than any hotel we have been to in... More

We arrived at the hotel and it looked great. First off looks are not everything. We checked in with our tour group of 22 people. Most of us received key cards that did not work and had to go back to the lobby to receive new keys. Then after entering the room the water would not work. The hotel had... More
