On the plus side: 1) a really wonderful location -- easy walk to the Old City and the City Center; a lovely park nearby; a grocery store across the street; easy access to several bus routes; etc. 2) excellent breakfast and dinner buffets -- lots of tasty choices and healthy options. On the negative side: Some of the rooms are... More

Rooms are pretty decent. Breakfast is bad as everywhere in Israel - no meat with milk is allowed. So to eat are only eggs. Dinner was good. Staff was helpful. Room service basically does not exist. No hot food served in the rooms. No lunch is available in the hotel besides salads More

We stayed at the Prima Kings Hotel with our tour group. On a positive note, it has a great location for a Conservative Jew - kitty corner to the Masorti synagogue and almost next door to the Great Synagogue. It is within walking distance of the Old City and Ben Yehuda Street. The breakfast was good - especially the freshly... More

Spent a week at the Prima Kings, which is in an ideal location - close to Old City, Mammila and Ben Yahuda Street, and more. Room was relatively small by American standards and with only one elevator to my floor, that can be a problem. WIFI worked throughout. Breakfast and dinner buffets were exceptional -- wide variety of food, different... More

It's in the right spot, and the price is right. Everything is extra small - bedrooms, bathrooms, even the elevators, but fine if you're just looking for a base from which to explore. The desk staff is actually surly, but the dining room staff is lovely. Breakfast buffet is fine, dinners were quite good. There is an outrageous charge for... More

Standing room only in a centrally located, near budget quality establishment ensures lots of business. Buffets are plentiful but lack passion or variety, service/presentation indifferent, desk staff reluctant. Use seems to outstrip skill of management. More

My wife and I just stayed a week at the Prima Kings Hotel. We got a very reasonable price, the breakfasts were great and it was walking distance from old (the wailing wall and the old city) and new (Mammila Mall and Yaffo street and Machne Yehuda). The hotel itself is not state of the art, it was older but... More

Every year Chai Lifeline, the international cancer organization giving support to families with cancer, sends a group of cancer children accompanied by a parent to Israel for a trip of a life time. This program is called “Wish at the Wall” and Chaiyanu\Chai Lifeline Israel arranges all the logistics for the trip from our Jerusalem office. When we looked into... More

Wow what a great postion. In the middle of Jerusalem. Walk 10 minutes down the hill and you're in Mamilla, walk ten minutes to the left and your'e in Ben Yehuda, a few doors from the great synagogue, twenty minutes to Emek Refaim, twenty minutes to the Kotel. We loved it. We spent 18 days in this hotel. We booked a... More

This was my first trip to Israel and I was very worried about where to stay. We did very well by staying at the Prima Kings. We arrived on a Thursday evening and was greeted by a bell hop who was more than willing to help us to our room. We checked in to room 608 which was larger than... More
