NOTE: THIS PLACE IS ALSO KNOWN AS 'NEVE TSEDEK CHARM HOTEL'. Indeed, this was the name i booked under, so i wasnt able to realise that these liart hotel reviews are for the same place. I booked this 'hotel' through a hotel booking company, and I was not given any special instructions at the time of booking. Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, when I tried to find the place it was almost impossible - it is on a side street that is part of a small maze of different streets. Eventually when in the area I asked a local resident to telephone the number of the 'hotel' and a lady answered and provided directions following which I still struggled for a while but eventually found it. If you do not have their phone number or you arrive in tel aviv very late in the evening when no local residents are around to help you, you simply will not find the place. What shocked me when i arrived was that it was a single room in a street - not a hotel at all. The key to open the room lock was hidden and the owner had to tell me on the telephone how to find it! In the morning, there is more noise coming into the room than in an actual hotel, because it is just a room on a street. So not great if you want to rest. It was shocking that none of the above information had been provided at the time of booking. To make the experience even worse, the rate I was quoted by the hotel booking company was in US dollars ($) but I was told that the hotel would charge me in local Israel currency of shekels. To my horror, the hotel overcharged my credit card by approximately 6% - in other words they charged me much more than the shekel amount converted from US dollars ($). The room itself was just about satisfactory; not luxurious but it was relatively clean and basic amenities such as tea / coffee making, television, and bathroom amenities (towels, soap) were provided. However, given all of the problems mentioned earlier, I will not be returning to this place and I advise you to avoid it.

We found it very hard to find! Eventually greeted by an ignorant unpleasant woman whom I had to tell twice not to speak to us in such a rude way. There were ants swarming all over the bathroom wall. Again the woman on the phone was both rude and unhelpful. She didn't give a damn. Only 1 cup between the 2 of us. This place is a Must Avoid at all costs. It totally ruined what was supposed to have been a last romantic night for us in Israel!

It's just a room directly on the street, it's not an hôtel. No isolation very noisy when the garbage trucks comes at 6am just front of the room's door. No reception and no staff available even though you have a problem. Ans if you're lucky and you can reach the owner, you'll have a very unfriendly personn and liar. All accomodations and services on the description are false. TV and WIFI are not working. The answer of the owner was "go to the bakery there is a free WIFI and you don't need TV during your holliday". Among the liars, there is not reception, staff, WIFI, suite with salon, garden, smoking area, spa, airport shuttle,... The room was dirty in a way that I haven't ever seen, mould on the wall and in the bath room, mud in the bathtube, dirty floor, towels and sheets smelly.... In two word "run away"

We stayed for 2 nights at this 'room converted and called ''hotel''. The door opens directly to the street. There is no contact with any room service or manager and everything is managed via phone with poor availability and I was yelled at once I asked for receipt. No wifi as promised. The bathroom is extremely dirty, towels are grey, pillows smell like they are never replaced or washed. The charges are not accurate and there are hidden fees.

The route from the airport is indeed a little tortuous but I found that the my Avis sat-nav got me to Kol Israel Haverim without any bother. Indeed there is no formal reception but the very friendly owner appeared within five minutes of my arrival and the room was ideal. Opposite is truly superb bakery which does cakes and coffee to die for - and probably will after having had truly too many cinnamon cakes! The room I had is really a pied a terre and was perfect for my needs but I can understand that the lack of formal room service etc might freak some people but given the rather arty surrounds with lots of great bars and restaurants spending time in one's room is really a waste of good time.

This hotel needs to review there location address, It is so hard to find. Our Taxi driver had to be talked through the route by the manager as it took us an hour of driving round. not good after a 4 hour flight. The hotel challis was very nice, and looked like the pictures, but have no idea where the office was. Bed was very comfortable but the bathroom although updated did need some refurb. The person who let us in did tell us there was milk and coffee etc. but did forget to say there was no Kettle.

the location os fabules, and the pictures looks amazing. unfortunatly, the maintenence level of the hotel is horrible: half of the lighting in the room did not work, parts of the wall fell off, and the shower was dirty. when we complained to the owner , she was rude . told us there is no other room "and besides you alredy used the room " ( we where there for 10 minuts and set on the bed..) stay away!! there are much much better places in the same price in the area...

We spent 2 nights at the so-called Liart boutique hotel. After confirming with the owner, we arrived on time as agreed, but there was nobody there. There was no sign or name on the door. It turns out that the "hotel" consists of 2 rooms. At the onset, the owner told us she did not nkow how to use the TV, but if we have some technical skills, we might be ablt to fix it. The bedroom was small and required gymnastical skills to get into bed. Even worse, the water in the bathtab did not drain, and the handle was broken. The handles of the kitchen cupboard fel immediately when touched. Overall, it was a nightmare.

We were told this is a boutique hotel. Big Lie! This is a room on the road. At 06:00 trucks were on our door making noise. The owner is a very unpleasant women. We came to the hotel and nobody was there. We waited 15 minutes outside for her. She showed us the room, she did not know how to use the TV but the worst is the following. There are two cups (for cofee) in the room. One was not there (she said was broken). We ask for her to bring a new one and she told us: "No, you can go and have coffee in the places around or you can go and ask them to give you a glass or something". I ask her if she knows that she is supposed to give service to the customers and she really did not understand what I was taking about !!!!! She was very rude. The place is not what they sell you in the Internet. Go to other place. You will be dissapointed. I said to her that they will advertise the room as it is and not as a "boutique hotel" . She does not care. She wants to sell the place and lies is OK with her.

My wife and I planned to spend a romantic night in Tel-Aviv. We looked for a small and quite place, so boutique hotel was the perfect solution for us. It was a bit strange that the hotel address was not advertised, so on our way to the hotel we called them. We were asked to wait at a certain address till somebody will come to meet us (which was even stranger). Bottom line, it is not a boutique hotel, just 2 rooms, and of mediocre level. Service was horrible, we had to wait 15 minutes for the lady that came to meet us, and when she arrived, she was rude and seemed to be angry at us. Definitely the fact that it is not a boutique hotel was a big disappointment, but the terrible service was the most frustrating experience in this stay. Strong recommendation- do not go there.
