Surprised that this place dosen't rank higher on TripAdvisor. Its a budget option so obviously its not luxury. However I found it both cheaper and a better standard than other hostel and budget options around Tel Aviv. The staff were all very friendly. Its right beside a 24 hour shop which has everything from beer to the makings of a... More

The Sky Hostel in Tel Aviv has an incredible friendly staff, always there to help 24/7. With an ideal location next to the beach, surrounded by restaurants with bus stops to different destinations, the Sky Hostel is also the place to be when visiting Tel Aviv in Israel, for the price they offer. Well done guys...

This was a letter written to the owner of Sky Hostel. Be aware that this Hostel is the nastiest, third-world country ugliest and most uncomfortable, dirty, scum and roach-infested place on earth. Greetings, My name is George, and I traveled with my Partner, William, to your hostel on Nov. 08, 2012. I was to be in your facility for 3-days... More

I'm a bit amazed with the number of people on Tripadvisor who apparently thought this place was crap. To us it was perfectly fine. We knew it would not be Hilton, but you pay only a tenth of that price. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful.

Take it from me. The reality at the hostel is totally different from the pictures. I stayed here during the summer and I regretted it tremendously. You cannot live and sleep with the heat during the summer as there is no AC in the hostel room, the balcony does not help either. ...and although the staff were nice, they disobeyed... More

Sky Hostel is one of the most affordable accomodations available in Tel Aviv, and is pretty standard as such. We stayed for three nights, and everything regarding our stay was exactly as we were told it would be on booking.com. We booked a double room with a shared bathroom. No AC, but we did have a fan. The room was... More

Before taking a bunk, I asked to see the room. Staff said it was not possible for people were in there. I only stayed one night for the four others were long term residents who had it set up with all their year's of personal belongings and taking all the storage lockers. Worst was they were unemployed and stayed all... More
