The Intercontinental Hotel In Riyadh has been in renovations since before May 2010 (my first stay there) and they continue today (May 2012). This hotel offers all of the amenities found in most high-end business hotels. Of note are the free wi-fi and LAN internet access, the well-equipped (male) fitness center, the indoor (chilled) and outdoor pools and the attached... More

The Intercon is one of the older hotels in Riyadh, currently undergoing a major renovation program. It is somewhat unique in that it is in the middle of town and has its own 9 hole golf course, large swimming pool, gym and extensive meeting/exhibition facilities. Rooms are good, newer rooms are better, current breakfast area is on the rooftop of... More

Stayed here for a two week business trip. Had a great room. Bed was very comfy and the shower was huge and awesome. Food was wonderful at the buffet upstairs. Great service, good breakfast. Room service is a little to be desired, but ok. Grounds are well kept, even though there is construction. The "security" at the front gate is... More

I stayed in the Intercon for most of my recent 3 month visit to Riyadh. There is renovation work going on but well controlled and It was a haven in what is quite an austere city in terms of outside entertainment other than shopping malls and restaurants and the desert. There is not a great deal to see or visit... More

It was a 2 weeks business trip, in a place with little else to do. The hotel provides good alternatives with 3 tennis courts, golf course and pool. It was February so we could use the tennis court extensively, I doubt you would be able to play in the hot months. Gym is open 24/7 with good number of machines... More

Service was excellent and food reasonably good. Breakfast was excellent, options for lunch and dinner left me wanting for more local choice. The lobby is still under construction, so it all feels a bit less impressive than it probably should. Conference facilities are outstanding. Rooms are excellent with great bed and amenities -- my view wasn't particularly good, but at... More

It was a bit of bad timing that i went when they were undergoing some major renovation. Still, it was not too disruptive other than having to walk extra distances which in the current weather is actually quite pleasant (15-25 C). it was particularly convenient for me that i was attending a conference right next door. To be honest i... More
