My room was round the back and was incredibly quiet considering the hotel’s location in the heart of Hamra. The staff in the restaurant and bar were charming and seemed to really care about customer service. It’s not flash but my room as clean and comfortable. And the happy hour(s) in the hotel bar are good value. More

We have stayed this hote for two nights in March. We were a small group of people had 3 rooms. We really enjoyed our time in Beirut. We had very hectic time while we were there. We used the hotel only for sleeping.Bathroom facilities were covering all we needed. We believe we made good choice for the amount we pay.Breakfast wasn't so abundant ,but it... Very good hotel in central Beirut. Staff was excellent, management very helpful, breakfast good. Rooms somewhat small but very clean. Very reliable through email for pick up and for arranging any travel. More

Yes, the decor is old fashioned, but the Mayflower hotel has style and the staff is great if you treat them nicely. For a non-Arabic speaker, it is one of the best value for money one can book in Beirut. I once again enjoyed my stay there and I for sure book it on my next trip to Beirut, too. More

Couldnt fault anything with this hotel. Rooms clean and refurbished plus spotless bathroom. Good breakfast, bar and friendly staff. I would come back and stay again. The hotel is old but this adds to the ambionce. More

This is the place Norwegian journalists and solidarity workers used to retreat to during the times of civil was in Lebanon. Many stories are told here over a bear in this bar. Still, Norwegians come back to Beirut and stay here rather than in charmless and pale hotels that you find on every other corner. Room has small balconies where... More

Great location, very old hotel, old linens, old decor, nothing special about this hotel. I would only stay here if I was on a tight budget and accepted that I will not have all the amenities one expects in a modern hotel. More

This is a very good value hotel, in a city which is rather expensive. The location in the Hamra district is excellent. The public areas of the hotel are a bit "tired" - but my room was very good with a really excellent bathroom. The breakfast is fine, and they vary the hot food offering from day to day. As... More

The Mayflower is a charming property one block off of the madness that is Rue Hamra. As the Mayflower cannot grow up or out due to its stifling location on a side street, the property has retained the stylish panache of its heyday 50 years ago. When one thinks of authentic Beirut, this property delivers. The rooms, while dated, are... More

We have experienced the best service in this hotel in Lebanon. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was adequate, fresh and healthy. The location is perfect. It was always full of tourists in the hotel, but they would manage everything. Our room was small, but the bathroom was large and clean with a small bathtub. More
