This place is quite amazing - they seem to have every thing just perfect - the level of friendliness and service. The comfort. The infinity pool is beautiful, and so relaxing. Fabulous green gardens and beautiful birds. Somehow they seem to just know when and what to do...rare these days - I cannot wait to go again. More

I took a break from work in Tanzania and spent a few days in Al Bustan -- it was everything I needed to recharge my batteries. The beds were very comfortable, the balcony exited directly into an infinity pool with built-in hydromassage sunbeds, the restaurant food was flawless and the service swift. I was unimpressed with the beach itself, though... More

We often stay at 4-5* hotels, and often are disappointed by the hotel or feel let dow by the 'stuffy' attitude towards customer service. This place exceeded all expectations; truly exceptional. Food buffet was beyond that standards of many top restaurants; in particular I would highlight the superb sea food night (as much lobster as you can eat!) and the... More

This hotel is good, but a short stay. However, rooms feel a bit old and the staff is not very welcoming. Don't expect anything close to the service you get in the UAE. The entrance's architecture is impressive and so are the gardens and the pool. Breakfast area is well-thought and faces the sea. However, food could be much better:... More

On an estate 20 minutes out of the city sits Al Bustan Palace, the entrance through the archway is grand as you reach the entrance very helpful staff are there to greet you with genuine smiles. Walking in to the atrium will impress, the space is like a cathedral, absolutely stunning decor with crystal chandeliers you'd never want to let... More

Stayed there for a conference in early April. Everything is five-star: location (on a beautiful beach, behind mountains), facilities (great restaurants, bar, beach, infinity pool), rooms, service. More

This is the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in!!! The lobby was out of this world, the gym and sport facilities were five star. The gym overlooking the beach had all of the equipment that you need to motivate you to exercise, and the views were to die for!! We had an amazing time, the... More

One of the grandest hotels I have ever been too, definitely a must go to. Breakfast is fantastic and dinner on the beach is a must! Great location, very close to the government section of Muscat (Muttra). However, if I was not on business here, I would honestly not spend the money. The rooms are very dated, also had to... More

This was our fourth stay, possibly our favourite hotel in the middle east but unfortunately new management , and average service meant standards had slipped. Positives: The beach, gardens, stunning pool and lagoon access rooms are the deal breakers here. The lobby is impressive, dinner at china mood was lovely and the harpist and pianist in the evenings a classy touch.Front... Everything has faults and if you look you find However the location setting and sheer majesty of building is breathtaking. Outside you have the choice of the pool walk forward and you have the grass fringe move forward and you on the beach. So the choice is yours. The lunch buffets are excellent. The diving school is close by, for... More
