Great value if you´re on a super tight budget. Rooms are very threadbare with creaky wooden floorboards you can practically see through and the bed and sparse furniture is just the same. Our room had the grotty little stained curtian that did little. Coffee and cooking facilities are there, and there is a siting room. But for a few pounds...

And Fidel Castro himself when he was 21 years old came to Bogotá in April 1948 to attend the Latin Americas Congress of youth, and happened to be here just during El Bogotazo, an uprising of people after Jorge Eliécer Gaitán (Presidential candidate was shot in the street).
