As a previous reviewer has pointed out this hotel is now being used to house Libyans, many of who are here to receive medical treatment for mental health issues. During our stay my daughter was attacked in the lift by a Libyan boy who kissed her and refused to let her out.Tthough the hotel dealt with it in a fashion...

This is a very functional hotel. Nothing to rave home about, but at the same time caters for all your needs.
Nice clean room. Beds did smell of fags but then again that probably reflects the previous occupant. Aircondition and TV with plenty of English channels.
Decent choice of food available. Breakfast is pretty good actually. There is a nearby...

Got this hotel as part of a Package holiday-exceeded our expectation with a spectacular looking lobby, polite staff and clean rooms.
The negative aspects are the fact that there is very little dining opportunities outside the hotel (though the hotel restaurants themselves aren't too bad) and that the noise from corridors do sometimes filter in through the doors.

We stayed for 3 nights in December in a junior suite.
Rooms were very spacious and suite was almost like a good sized apartment except kitchen.

From my arrival for a 5 day visit to Cairo, I felt welcome and looked after. The staff speak fluent English, are warm and helpful. I had a junior suite overlooking the Nile, with every facility including room safe and fridge. The restaurants were superb, the chefs second to none. There is a business centre, but you can get half...

I'm really late leaving this review - I stayed in March and April 2010, but I figure maybe better late than never.
I wasn't really very impressed with the Pyramisa in Cairo. I took a tour and this was the hotel we were meeting at/staying at for the first night so I stayed two extra nights at the beginning of...

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights whilst on a tour of Egypt in April 2009. Right in the centre of town it is a large hotel of about 20 storeys. The rooms are fantastic, they are like flats, hallway, bathroom, lounge area and 2 bedrooms, one for us and one for our 3 children (all young) best layout rooms...
