It was my first time travelling to Cairo, was attending a conference in mid February 2012. The location is very safe, no problems/inconveniences for a solo female traveler. The hotel was above expectations (from tripadvisor I expected smth much worse). Not Ritz of course, but rooms cleaned on a regular basis, all accessories are in place, lobby and bar are... More

I'm always up for an adventure so when I stayed here last year in March (2010), I was mildly surprised because this hotel has charm! My best friend, who lives in Cairo, wanted me to stay at the Sheraton a couple of blocks away but I thoroughly enjoyed it here. Rooms were adequate and cool, the bathrooms were clean and... More

This hotel was chosen for its location and price, both of which were good. The hotel is very basic, breakfast was poor at best. Rooms were ok, but shower hardly worked. Only a portion of the bottom 2 floors, and the top half of the building acually belong to the hotel, the rest is actually residential dwellings, however they have... More

We have recently returned home from a 10 day holiday to Egypt, of which we spent 5 nights in Cairo at the Concorde Hotel. It's very basic, rooms are maintained well but its very shabby. Staff can either be very friendly or just completely unwilling to help but we had no real reason to spend any time at the hotel... More

If you know that the star system is not comparable with the star system in Europe, this hotel is fine! One in our group traveled for the first time to Egypt, and was very disappointed first, but adjusted quickly. Staff is friendly, rooms are small, floor covered with a rather filthy carpet. Bathroom was clean, the restaurant had quite nice... More

I have been at Concorde hotel for three days from Monday to yesterday. For sure the hotel is not a *****. It is a 4* for the hall, the number of restaurants, the services. I could feel very safe in consideration of the security service very accurate. Breakfast ok, especially for the fresh orange juice. Very expensive the internet service... More

For a Budget Hotel it is ok, but don't expect the staff to clean your bathroom whilst you are there; they never cleaned ours. It was however clean when we arrived, although the fittings are very old it is just functional. The rooms were clean and had what was needed except it would have been nice to have at least... More

My husband and I stayed in the Concorde for 6 days in January. We expected a standard hotel nothing too plush. The hotel was in a good location 10 minutes walk to the Egyptian museum (although if you ask the staff to direct you anywhere they will try to get you a taxi or organise a tour for you and... More

The hotel is in a great location.. It is close to downtown and other attractions. I was traveling alone, so was sceptical of accomodations and tours. I didn't know who I could trust, however,I was lucky to meet Emad at Rosetta, just down the street. Emad planned a great 7-day trip for me at a VERY good price. He was... More
