The Lotus Hotel Is Very clean, hardwood floors, antique furniture, room with balcony, great location:minutes walk to Egyptian Museum, Nile, Opera House, galleries, a lot of restaurants, free high speed Internet in lobby, a most friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and all this for such a reasonable price.

Fantastic location, close to Tahrir Square, subway, Egyptian Museum, and city center. Cheap, basic hotel. WIFI works but only in the lobby. Breakfast very basic.

Stayed at the Lotus Hotel last week with my girlfriend. Location was perfect, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean. The breakfast is continental and you can order extras at a reasonable price. Room rate was very reasonable (about $26 per night including breakfast).
