A quaint place in the corner of the park(vegetable gardens). Three short blocks to money changers and a McDonalds. Large room on the eighth floor with accompanying spacious bath.Comfortable beds. The manager, Marwa Ayoub, a person with a warm smile and an accommodating businessman. The staff was attentive. We had a 1:00 AM wake up call scheduled to go to... More

I've just returned home from Cairo. My third trip in three years and each time I looked forward to my stay at the Zayed Hotel. The staff are great, ready to help you in anyway they can. The rooms are cozy, clean and quiet. The food is tasty and prepared very well with the foreign traveller in mind. I can't... More

Zayed is in a very quiet neighborhood. Rooms and bathrooms are huge, overlooking a garden. I spent one night on the 9th floor with a king and a twin beds. Everything was lovely there. The hotel is not in downtown area and not close to subway, but only cost about $3 cab ride to/from downtown. On my way back from... More

I organised my Siwa/White Desert trip through an Egyptian Company called Lady Egypt. Included in the package was 'day use' of a room at the Zayed Hotel before catching an evening bus to Siwa, so I only had about nine hours at the hotel. My room was on the seventh floor facing the park/ square, which I found was a... More

I spent some six nights total at Zayed and found it to be a better-than-average three star hotel. The lobby is decorated like some Egyptian fantasy and is staffed with very friendly people. Unfortunately, I had to run a gauntlet of cigarette smoke in the lobby to get to the elevator; there was just no escaping the smell. The halls... More

an awesome hotel, i would recommend it to anyone destined to Cairo, close to shops, restaurants and other amenities. Has it's own restaurant with great food. Rooms very nice and spacious and the staff are super friendly. Looking forward to my return!

It's a really neat, cosy and a secure place to stay in with very friendly people. It's near by shops, pharmacies, restaurants. Great room service, and internet availability! I definitely recommend it. -Abir kadi

Arriving in a strange country is nothing new to me - but this was my first visit to another African country. We arrived a day earlier than the rest of our travel-group - but it made no difference to the Hotel management or the Tour Company. The Zayed Hotel was welcoming, friendly, and filled with hospitality. I enjoyed our stay... More

We went to Egypt on a group tour, but arrived at Zayed Hotel a few days before the rest of the group. We were collected from the airport by friendly staff, greeted at the hotel in fab Egyptian Pharonic decor, profesional staff with big smiles and nothing but helpful hints and anything else we can do for you's! Great restaurants... More
