good place where to stay just the location on the map here is wrong....the hotel is closer to the railwaystation and not on the nile.

This was an excellent budget choice! The breakfast far surpasses anything else we have had in Egypt and the staff were smiley and helpful. I completely recommend this place to all backpackers from all over the world! I wish we'd met more people around Egypt like the lovely and lively staff at the Oasis... I will definitely go back there if I ever return to Luxor, most people who experience it do! And for very good reasons.

Must say very pushy for sales and tours, we took a tour and must say was not impressed at all. The tour was more expensive then other hotels and I am sure of less quality. Pros: The Oasis makes it easy for you. We were allowed to check in early, check out late, leave bags behind the reception desk and use the shower after check-out.
