We spent one night in this hotel as we had an early flight from Nairobi the next morning. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and the hotel felt secure. We paid KSh1,000 for the room, which is a bargin in Nairobi. The room was basic but did have a wash hand basin in the bedroom and an ensuite bathroom... More

Terminal Hotel is not a special place, but if you want to stay in downtown Nairobi and don't want to spend a lot of money, Terminal is a good choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the hot water is reliable, and the location is great. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance, a huge Nakumatt grocery/department store... Same Nairobi standarts, bunk bed.mosq.net,fan,table & chair,no Tv, but, ensuite rooms and the bathroom is O.K. Also an pricey but good located and clean hotel. Advantage is just opposite to the shopping mall including a small food court and internet and wonderful thing is 20 meters to the Nakumatt Supermarket. In the night grab your cold drinks and foods and all... More

I had a large airy room with nice hot showers at the Terminal Hotel. Furmiture and beds are ahowing their age, but for the price paid it's a perfectly acceptable option. Close to Museum and Maasai market, directly opposite a shopping centre including Nakumatt. Walking distance to all points of interest in Nairobi city centre. Nice restaurant next door.

The Terminal Hotel is a great choice for people that want a minimum of comfort in a central location. Rooms have their own bath and are generally clean, with few cockroaches only. It is also a very calm loaction - as long as you request a quiet room that does not neighbour the noisy street or the nearby night club.... More

Warm and friendly staff always happy to comply with requests, close to banks, shops, restaurants. Old rooms, reasonably clean. Had a few bed bugs otherwise ok.

I stayed at the Terminal Hotel for 3 nights in July. Now mind you, I was backpacking with 2 other friends who I was meeting with in Kenya. I was not traveling with a spouse, I did not have high expecatations of this hotel. It was cheap, in a good location, safe and clean. I never encountered any problems with... More

My wife and I booked to stay at the terminal for our last two days at Nairobi. Rooms were large and bright with clean sheets and towels. Everything was good, until the night came.. The party from the backyard of the restaurant downstairs started getting louder and louder. With tables filled with drinks, it didn’t look like it’s going to... More

Near the airport, across the street from a mall, around the corner from a Western Union and a Chinese restaurant. Basic room with clean sheets, one towel and sometimes hot water. Not bad.

I searched extensively before my trip for a reasonably priced (<$100) place to stay in Nairobi for my last night in Kenya. I didn't want to spend much as I had to leave for the airport at 5am the following morning anyway. I found unlike Johannesburg, there is not much depth in accomodation in Nairobi and it is mostly expensive.... More
