My friend and I found Sandavy almost by accident, and thankfully we did. The guest house itself was so comfortable, nice and safe but the staff made the stay worthwhile. More than anything Sandy and David the owners and especially James, our amazing safari guide and driver, made our time in Kenya the best ever. I highly recommend Sandavy for... More

Sandavy Guesthouse is a peaceful haven while visiting Nairobi. Sandy and David are wonderful hosts who know how to make you feel at home. Their guesthouse is clean, safe and inviting. Their gardens are lovely and their staff are warm and helpful. We really liked the "local" feel, including the delicious meals. We highly recommend this guesthouse...superb value, intimate feel... As a teacher I accompanied a group of 17 high school students along with one other teacher and we spent almost 2 weeks in Nairobi. David and Sandy were wonderful hosts, Moses made great food and we all felt comfortable and relaxed. Being able to create a safe and secure environment for my students was very important for us and... More

We stayed with David and Sandy for a couple of nights on our arrival in Nairobi in November. It was our first trip to Kenya and we found the accomodations to be pleasant and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts in the morning were delicious and the location was a great place to launch from for our exploration of... More

Stayed here in May of 2011. Hosts were fantastic. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. Wifi was a plus. Hosts were happy to store our luggage we were on safari. Also made breakfast and dinner when we requested it at reasonable prices. There was a fully stocked fridge with reasonably priced drinks at any time. Hosts also made all our tourist... More

I stayed at Sandavy for one night in September. It is a nice and relaxing place to stay, and they look after you well. The food was good. The staff were all very helpful. The room was relaxing and I had a fantastic night's sleep there. It was great to have free use of the internet in the living room.... More

I would wholeheartedly agree with all of Carolyn's comments. This B&B far exceeded my expectations, everything from the safari to the world class meals was outstanding and you could not find a better value anywhere. The hospitality and friendliness of Sandi and David plus their entire staff was great, they made you feel welcome and right at home. They patiently... More

The Sandavy is a calm oasis in the middle of bustling Nairobi. They have a variety of room styles and sizes to choose from. There is something for everyone. The rooms are kept immaculately clean, the decor is welcoming and the mattresses afford a great night's sleep. The bathrooms are likewise very clean and have HOT WATER SHOWERS, a commodity... More

I did really enjoy the stay here and would recommend it overall but I felt a little let down by a couple of things that stopped me from giving it a very big recommendation. Firstly, I have to say that the rooms themselves are great and terrific value for money. I also have to comment that the staff member named... More

My girlfriend and I booked this after reading reviews here at TA. Sent an email to a few places, inclusive a couple of hotels just to check things out. Most answered very quickly, including Sandavy. No need to give out credit card details or pay online. Confirmed directly via email and also arranged for someone to pick us up as... More
