We have just returned from our second visit to The Royal Mara Safari Lodge. The first being in February 2011 for 4 nights and this time April 2012 for 5 nights. Words just can't describe the wonderful experience you will have here. Starting with the fantastic accommodation that has the most wonderful views across The Mara River. Here you can... More

We booked a 3 day 2 night safari at the Royal Mara via Julius Thuvi of Julius T Safaris www.juliustsafaris.com and it was amazing. The whole trip was just wonderful! The Royal Mara Lodge was outstanding and George Jr. was an excellent host. He was very nice and very interesting and the food and accommodations were just prefect. I would... More

We cannot describe how this whole experience was so much more than expected. We spent 2 nights here and would love to come again. Thanks to George jr, James and Reagan for helping us to see so many animals and for all the knowledge they gave us. The rooms and food were excellent and we loved the bush lunch when... More

We booked a 3 day 2 night safari at the Royal Mara via Julius Thuvi of Julius T Safaris www.juliustsafaris.com and it was amazing. The location is prefect, accommodation is amazing and the staff can not do enough for you. I don`t normally write reviews but this place is definitively worth shouting about.

If you want to have a personal safari, then this is the place to go. There are 8 tents, how they can call them tents I will never know. They were superb lodges as far as I was concerned finished to a very high standard. We arrived and whilst getting our briefing from George we were interrupted by his phone... More

My wife and I were considering where we would go over the holidays, and every time we looked at a place we were thinking about going, we would constantly compare it to our experiences at the Royal Mara, and finally we realized we should just go back. We've been there multiple times now, and while the amazement of the wildlife... More

We booked a 3 day 2 night safari at the Royal Mara via Julius Thuvi of Julius T Safaris www.juliustsafaris.com and it was amazing. Julius was fantastic and I would definitely recommend you book via him (see separate review). The Royal Mara was lovely. It's only a small camp, 8 tent/lodges which makes it friendly and personal. The tents/lodges are... More
