I had a most wonderful stay at Little Governors' Camp. Good food, good hospitality and very good game viewing. Very nice Lion sightings and wished we could have stayed here longer. Will sure try to visit the Masai Mara again in the near future.

I was lucky enough to stay at Governors during April and had the best time. The tents have everything and more than you need, whilst retaining their authenticity - the views from your deck are incredible, hippos and warthogs galore! Our game drives were great - we saw pretty much everything, and the river crossing is all part of the... More

Had a great experience at Little Governor's camp in the Masai Mara. Food, accomodations, and service were all excellent. Very talented group of guides for game safari trips. The vehicles they use are terrific and even during heavy rains we were able to navigate through some really tough terrain. Had a great stay there. When I come again, I would... More

Everything about the camp was first class. Entry to the camp is by road and a very short river crossing. The tented accomodation was not how I remeber tents. There was an ensuit bathroom with hot and cold water and a wood panelled shower! The food was better than I expected with plenty of choice and variety. The service was... More

OK, so I've been to Governors (Main, Little and Il Moran) on a number of occasions and not for the safari but that doesn't mean I'm not blown away every time I'm there. We use Governors as a base for some charity work but just driving about the Mara is a safari in the true meaning of the Swahili word.... More

Great location, great guide, polite and friendly staff. Food adequate but could be better. Tent roomy, but lived out of suitcase as no drawers provided. River low, so to reach steps each side, sandbags had been placed below them. We enjoyed the elephants wandering calmly through the camp and never felt threatened as the guards were aware of them at... More

We booked our 3 day safari to Governors Camp through JT Safaris and duly set of on the flight from Diani to Masai Mara on 16th Feb 13. Although we booked Governors Camp we were taken to Little Governors instead as claimed Governors was full. The access to this camp is a health and safety nightmare. (see pictures) You have... More

My first time on Safari. And it far exceeded everything I had wished for. It was FANTASTIC! I chose Masai Mara because: open jeeps, able to go off road and less vegetation. Really happy with my choice. Truly amazing experience, I saw every animal I wished to I couldn't believe how close up you for a clear view (while of... More

A One night stay at Little Governors was just excellent. Fantastic food, great service, superb hosting by George, lovely game drives and overall really superb. You need to improve on Breakfast. The Standard English fare and baked beans right of the can does not show quality.
