I am staying at the InterContinental Beijing Beichen for approximately 4 - 5 months. I expect the business traveller will find the shorter stays very pleasant. For the mid to long term hotel guest, the amenities are not commensurate with the cost over the longer term.

The room facilities are not well maintain and the service are terrible bad. They even ask me to become 'temporary bellboy' while I'm waiting for cab in the hotel lobby. Will definitely not visit this hotel again.

Not in the centre of town, but if the Olympic Park is on your schedule or you have business in North Beijing this is a great choice. Large rooms, great marble bathrooms and good meeting facilities.
