This is a nice hotel conveniently located in a hutong near a metro stop and the Forbidden City. This made it easy to get to from airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. The concierge was great in getting me to a nice local place to eat the first night. He even stuck around and ordered for me.

To get to this hotel you have to walk in an alley a ways as our bus could not fit into this alley. Rooms were quite small with hardly any space to place your clothes in. They do provide water, one for each occupant. A tea pot is included for hot water and tea is provided.

Very interesting hotel. Backstreet China but walking distance to historical Beijing. Room are elaborate, but well done. Very spacious. Buffet is primarily Chinese, but a western meal can be made. Although close to subway, I suggest you get there by cab the first time and then feel free to wander through real China.
