Over $150/night for poor service, no water pressure, very mediocre breakfast, and a room that reeked of paint fumes for 2 nights. No thanks. Never again. Much better values offered in Beijing. I know from experience.

The room was nice. There were robes and slippers and brushes. The duvet was too warm and an alternate sheet/blanket would have been nice. There were only two bath towels but that was a constant in hotels in China. Access to the internet was fairly expensive. The hotel notice said that window washing would start at a decent time but...

This is a great hotel... great breakfasts... the rooms are nice and the bathrooms first class. If you get tired of Chinese food there's a Pizza Hut and McDonald's across the street. There's an underpass under the main street from the hotel to shopping and restaurants. Internet worked well although there is some restricted access... like Facebook. It is not...

It sounds funny to say that my best memory of our stay in Beijing is the bathroom at the Beijing International! But, the way the bathroom is designed is truly outstanding. I want to put one just like it in my house! Also, if you travel to China, pay attention to the fixtures in the bathrooms. They are primarily made...

Excellent location, but the traffic is horrendous getting in and out of the place. Go with a Chinese to survive there. The breakfast has a very interesting combination of the world's breakfast foods...so I bet you'll find something that you'll love.
It has a convention center attached that is huge. The place has 3 built in resturants, one a Japanese suici...

I stayed in Beijing International Hotel in March 2012. This hotel deserves high rating for it's great location, rooms equipment, helpful English speaking staff and breakfast although it has some disadvantages which can create inconvenience. Not all rooms are renovated, my colleague stayed in a very dated room, though he paid the same price as I did for the new...

I wanted to clarify a review I made a couple of days ago. First, let me express how very nice everyone is here at this hotel. They are truly magnificent and the hotel is perfect. Kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. I had mentioned my terrible experience towards the end of our trip via Simon Tours....

The concierge and staff were impossible to communicate with in English. A simple request for a dining reservation or ordering a car to transport six people to dinner required drawing pictures to explain what was being requested. Door man was useless with getting cabs to take you where you wanted to go. He did not intervene on our behalf; asked...

My wife and I just returned from China after a 10 day escorted tour. While in Beijing, we stayed four (4) nights at the Beijing International Hotel. My wife and I are frequent travelers and found the hotel to be excellent. The entire hotel, lobby to guest rooms, was immaculate. The hotel even offered free WiFi on the first and...

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a tour. The rooms are a little dated, but very spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Cleanliness level is great. The breakfast buffet is spectacular; 70% Chinese fare (dumplings, noodles, soups, congee), 20% Western (scrambled eggs, bacon, bread and pastries), and 10% international (yogurt, fruit juices, fresh fruit). Our only disappointment...
