Stayed here for around ten days. Most things are good but not the room heating/air conditioning. Simply in the winter months, including March when I stayed, the unit in the room will only give out hot air (very hot!), despite setting it to 'cold' and the thermostat to around 15 degrees C. The hotel is not very central. The service was very poor, the rooms were filthy, the carpets were filthy, the lighting in the room was very bad. There was no hot water and the problem was not fixed even though we asked for them to attend to it.

Room is of decent size and cleanliness. Staffs were friendly but limited spoken English except for one or two staffs but all tried to be very helpful nevertheless. The indoor supposedly hot-spring water swimming pool is cold. I went on a tour of Shanghai, Xian and Shanghai. This hotel was great. It had a beautiful lobby and great hotel bar. The rooms were nice and the service in the hotel was excellent.
