well worth of the money for this hotel. do not expect the so-call 5-stars though. great location. bring your own swimming cap if you plan to swim in the pool. otherwise it would cost you a fortune to buy a crappy one in the hotel.

Room on Exexutive floor was dirty, shower moldy. Halls and room smelled bad, AC didn't work, carpet dirty. I would rate this hotel 1-2. Staff was very nice, apologetic and refunded our credit card upon request. We left and went to Crown Plaza, one block away. It was cheaper and MUCH cleaner and nicer.

I had stayed in peak winter dec'09 with my colleague. The hotel is very well located, near the downtown shopping district. Tianmen Square and Forbidden City is on a walking distance. situated in very famous shopping area, well connected, great chineese food, very good spa with relaxing threapies, good restaurants, safe, very good staff and room service, travel assistance is good, has an ATM inside to take money at any time. very close to shopping malls, forbiden city. grate experience.

We really enjoyed this hotel, for the price it was well worth it! The location is great, staff was friendly, the only thing is we didn't go swimming because you need a swim cap but that is common everywhere in Asia. Great hotel, nice decor, would stay there again.
