From the Beijing airport, it cost us just under 80rmb to get the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location. A mall with a good mix of American and Asian restaurants is next door. There is also a McDonald's and KFC just across the street. You can also find the best Peking Duck a block away. In...

Yes the location is great. It was very convenient to get onto the metro station which is located inside the mall. The mall has a great food court in the lower floor. Yes it is close to The Forbidden City but anything near a metro station could get you there. All of that is outside of the hotel.

They did not take my credit card for deposit but did ask for a 500RMB deposit which they returned to me at check-out. The...

Booked via Travelzen (all good) for 4 nights. It met all requirements, most important being location. The check in was quick and the staff were serious but sweet trying very hard to understand our Australian accents. The hotel rooms are stock standard for the price range, clean well maintained, good size bathroom with white fluffy towels. It has tea facilities...

The North Garden has what would be 3 star rooms in the US but will stay there every visit from now on. It is a superb value. I got it for about $100 a night. . The location is unbeatable. Between Wan Fu Jing walking street, Peking Union Med Center, Tianamen Sq and Forbidden Palace you could spend a week...
