I had business at the HKG airport, so I stayed at the Marriott SkyCity HKG Airport Hotel. While the property is like most Marriotts, the desk staff was pathetic. One good thing, this hotel is near the Hong Kong Express station making it easy to get into the city. SkyCity would be better with better bathrooms and desk staff service.

We preferred staying at kowloon rather than the city as it was much more serene and peaceful this side.The hotel offers free transfers which is an added bonus. Good hotel...great food and services topped up with great views.

booked a king room - only one breakfast included though - disappointing. Breakfast was amazing though so worth it I guess. Would have thought that if I booked a room for 2 people breakfast would then be for two! Fabulously comfortable beds, quiet rooms and a good stop over en route to Europe from Australia.
