Stayed here solo for 2 nights on a stop over. The Filipino lady at reception was very professional and helpful. Goto Wikipedia/YouTube and look up Chung King Mansion. Though the hostel is good the building is kind of dodgy. This building has many hostels similar to this one and lot of ethnic deseters making it almost like a ghetto. Osaka hostel was very cheap and good, everything in room worked just fine! My suggestion would be to book in person as online prices are too expensive.

Tiny and cramped, not exactly dirty but not inspiring any sense of real cleanliness. I didn't stay long enough to remember to take pictures, unfortunately. It can be an ok option for extreme backpackers on a tiny budget, but for anyone looking for comfort, keep looking. With Chungking Mansions being the first place I saw in Hong Kong, I was immediately disappointed with the city and it took a few days to shake the feeling. Just getting into the main building is a trial, with hawkers and shop vendors constantly vying for your attention as you try to lug your luggage through the halls and onto a tiny elevator. It was just a little too much for me.
