This is probably one of my more difficult hotels to review and hope that I can remain as fair as possible. In summary, it was a bit of a rocky start, but was later corrected and made better by the staff. The location is excellent, if you want to be near TST and MRT, but the hotel seems to be dated. Their breakfast staff - amazing. To start - the check-in process was as smooth and quick as possible, we received our room keys, and went to the room to get settled in. I also then thought I booked a room with breakfast included, but was confused as there was no mention of that. Regardless, we wanted to get the tired toddler to bed, and we'll look into later. When we got to the room, the room was dirty - there was food crumbs and stickiness left on the coffee table, (we booked a suite for 7 nights) and didn't look like the livingroom was vacuumed. Our toddler touched everything, and nearly ate whatever it was. I was appalled and frustrated and had to immediately clean that up as well. Once we got situated, I tried to figure out the breakfast issue. I had to go back downstairs to ask the front desk - when, where, what time, etc. At this point, I was irritated. Why was this not simply communicated to us earlier? After some discussions, I requested a room change. They honored a room change for me, and I packed up all our stuff the next morning. It was a bit chaotic changing rooms too, but this review is long enough, so we'll skip that. We got a cleaner, brighter, and larger room - this felt much more comfortable. No worries about crashing into one of the furnitures right outside the bedroom door now. We had breakfast every morning downstairs (their lounge access is being remodeled or something, shucks). Their breakfast at the cafe (which had a huge variety of food and lots of fresh fruits) gets crowded, but the staff there works so hard - they were probably the best in the entire hotel. The rest of the hotel appears to be dimly lit, a little dated, sad, and the rooms have some shoddy looking updates. Aesthetically, it looks fine, but when you look closer, it's a little questionable. The sinks in the bathrooms are huge and short, so water just splashes everywhere. Overall, the location is great if you want to be near TST where a lot of the tourists sites are near. The MRT station is close by as well. One major complaint is the lack of accessible ramps for stroller and handicap. I think that's an issue for Hong Kong in general, but if you needed to get into the hotel, the only way is to use the driveway for cars and hope no one hits you.…
