It was very quiet during our stay at the Lhasa Hotel in April 2010, as in, the hotel is very large and there were very few people there. The large restaurants were empty and the staff were sitting in the dark - when we entered, they quickly greated us and turned on the lights...I think they had to round up... More

Awful hotel! The lobby is beautiful and deceiving. The pool is an empty basin, the grounds have nomads camped in them with grazing sheep, the rooms are pitiful with unrepaired water leak stains on the wallpaper, the airconditioning and hair dryer don't work, the carpets are never hoovered.
