Only one post about the wailing mosque?! The extremely loud speakers were on at midnight and 4am, among other times. Impossible to sleep. Make sure you get a room opposite away from the mosque. I just changed my room hopefully it will be better tonight. And no bottled water. And they'll charge you 50k for lost key card. Not good.

It's 10 minutes walk from Jl Jenderal Sudirman, so what a treat! Don't mind that it's on narrow little dark side streets, but to pay USD50 for that sort of access - what a treat! This hotel is exactly right in the city center. It's hidden but the good thing is there's a transjakarta station near this hotel. But sad to say during our stay there was no wifi connection. I hope it was just a minor glitch. Anyways we enjoyed our stay. Receptionist gave us a room with a great view of Jakarta's skyline.

I stayed here with a bunch of other colleagues. The rooms are basic, but adequate. The restaurant was a notch above decent. Most importantly, though, the price is an exceptional deal given the location. Also, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
