We booked a room in De Pendopo after having read reviews on Trip Advisor, and it was a good choice indeed. Hidden in the side streets off the main road, the place is very quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The locations is good to - minutes walk to nice food places like... More

I spent 3 nights at De Pendopo with my mom and sister. The place is comfortable and peaceful. We love the room and their green yard. The manager, Mas Budi is friendly and helpful. He helped us with the laundry service. Looking forward to visit Yogya and spend more nights at De Pendopo. More

We spent 5 nights at De Pendopo and loved it! Budi and Ira, the owners, are lovely! They were so accommodating and helpful and genuinely great people. We learned so much about Yogyakarta from chatting to Budi and Ira and found out about great places to eat local food and interesting places to visit! De Pendopo is situated off the... More

we spent 2 nights here and we slept peacefully. The bedroom was nice especially the bathroom. too bad I don't have enough time to soak in the bathtub. I definitely recommend this property! it is also a short walk to a TransJogja stop. A taxi from Jl. Malioboro is around 14k IDR. A tip on going here is to look... More

We spent four nights at De Pendopo--There are four, nicely decorated rooms with a traditional Javanese 'pendopo' or hut (containing a kitchen and sitting area) in the courtyard of this homestay. Budi, the owner, is a friendly guy who speaks impeccable English and is more than happy to let his guests use his kitchen and fridge and even offered us... More

the family who owns this place is very nice. but the place was getting a little run down and moldy smelling. The bathroom really is gorgeous - BUT the lack of a sink was kind of annoying. Breakfast was ok. it was all ok. we moved and found a new place in the area for the same cost. More

My wife recently spend one night here because of the high ratings it got here on tripadvisor. When we first arrived we were amazed at the place. It set back off the road and you don't expect such a nice little place down an alley. The rooms were a great size and the bathroom was nice with the transparent roof... More

After living in the Phoenix Hotel and the Manohara Hotel in the first two nights, we tried this guest house based on tripadvisor's review for our last night in Yogya. I should say that this guest house was still a little better than what I expected, though I had already seen some photos here in advance. We contacted by email... More
